the history, mythology and folklore of this magical country, as well
as the breathtaking scenery, and the amazing hospitality. On into the Province of Munster, The spectacular Cliffs of Mohar, the renowned Dingle Peninsula and weather permitting, an optional boat trip to Skellig Michael, a small rocky island off the tip of the Iveragh Peninsula. A visit to the historic town of Cork, the port from which so many of Ireland's beleaguered famine victims emigrated. Our journey culminates in the Province of Leinster and the amazing Boyne Valley! We will visit the Neolithic sites of New Grange, Knowth and Dowth. Tara, the ancient seat of the High Kings or Ard Ri of all Ireland and Glendalough There
will also be an opportunity for exploring Dublin, it's rich historic
sites, Museums and Art Galleries, shops and restaurants. On our return
journey through Wales, we will take the opportunity to stop off in Anglesey
at Bryn Celi Ddo, an incredibly energetic ancient site, before crossing
the Menai Straights and traveling home. |
